Purnata: Wholeness of completeness
Upyogita: Utility or usefulness
Kamaavartan Seelta: The cycle of regeneration, where nothing is wasted.

Buffer Zone: (Boarder Crop)

A protective belt that separates organic farm from neighbouring chemical farms.

Keeping big tries or so in this buffer zone.

Perennial Zone:

Like sugarcane, fruits, Chickpeas(channa, to add nitrogen On October) and later sugarcane.

Channa , Gajar, Chana, Gajar, Later Onion and Later Haldi.

Grass for Cow.

Smell of Haldi, Onion, Lesun, Gajar, (Sessional)

Sarso, Alsi.

NOTE

Should not be doing `jotai`. The less `jotai` the good. And we should not keep it ideal.

Do based on time and based on height.

Few tree:

Melia Dubia tree. (cost 25 Rs --> 25,000 Rs in 10 years )

Sandalwood --> earn Rs 1,00,000 to 5,00,000

About Earthworms

  • Epigeic Earthworms (Need Munching) (So, remove the weed and put at the same place)
  • Anecic Earthworms (Very key) --> This increase the micro organism
  • Endogeic Earthworms

if my land soil is compacted, how can I make it softer?

How to know, if your soil is good?

Sultan Ismail reveals a zero-cost soil health test, anyone can do graze. Take the best cows on your land and let their dung fall. Leave it there, don't pick it up and Wait for 4-6 days. If the dung dries into a flat cake (Upli), your soil has no moisture and no microorganisms.is is sick. But if it blooms and expands like a mushroom, your soil is alive and healthy.

NOTE

Before earthworms cam feed, micro-arthropods perform the first stage of decomposition in the soil. Tiny organisms like mites, isopods and amphipods shred fallen leaves into small fragments, increasing surface area and allowing microorganisms to colonize and break them down further.

  • Mulching, organic carbon.

Composting

Needs a mix of both dry and fresh leaves:
Dry leaves = High in carbon
Green leaves = High in nitrogen.

The ideal ratio for micro-organisms to thrive and compost well is `25 part of carbon` to `1 part of nitrogen`.

Carbon(C)(Dry leaves):Nitrogen(N)(Green Leaves) Ratio is 25:1

Who know, Nature actually take care of this. The tree not just give dry leave but also give the green leaves.

Mulching

  • Plastic Mulching is not good for our India. (Ideally not good.)
  • We should be doing organic Mulching.

Different leaves contain varied polyphenols, anotioxidants and micronutrients that nourish different microbial communities in the soil. Just as palak and methi are both greens yet differ in taste and composition, Each type of leaf adds a unique biochemical profile to the soil ecosystem.

Understand soil on a given time

NOTE

During Sankranti in parts of South India, tradition included reverence for the rear of the cow not just its horns or head. The symbolism honored dung as a source of fertility and abundance, reflecting how ecological wisdom about soil and nutrients was deeply embedded in cultural rituals.

Understand the Ecosystem. Nature is far good for all of us.

How to collect your own native earth worms

A free method to collect your own native worms find the spot on your farm where food scraps and utensil washing water regularly fall earthworms always appear there. After the first rain, look for their round boondi-like castings. Then dig a small pit fill in with cow dung + jaggry in equal parts, cover with jute sacking, water daily. In 25-30 days desi worms will be ready.

How to use your cow dung

The two most critical rules for making vermi-compost correctly:

First the cow dung or biomass must be completely cool before adding earthworms. Hot, fermenting material will kill them. Test if warp fresh cow dung in a polythene bag for 2-3 days. if it feels hot, wait. If it cool to the touch, add worms. Second water must drain freely. Waterlogged beds rot, not compost.

Biomass + cow-dung mix and decompose first. Also note once you put the worms on the top you put some leave on the top of it.

Also note, each earth worm, is both male and female.

Vermi-wash (Native Earth Worms)

some leaves (to act as filter, so cow dung should not go out + Cold cow dung + earth worth warm + water.

1:90 (1ltr vermi liquid + 90 ltr water.) you can use easily.

NOTE

DYI: `fermented fruit enzyme fertilizer:

Take overripe fruid(Banana, papaya), equal weight of "Jaggery", and 2.5 - 3 litrs of water. Seal in a plastic bottle. Shake gently every morning. Fermentation will cause the bottle to swell - open briefly to release gas, then reseal. After 30-40 days, the smell of alcohol means its ready, Dilute 10% and spray.

NOTE

  • Learn permaculture design (Bill Mollison's system) for your farm layout.

  • Start with fast-growing vegetables (Okra, Chili, tomato) for early returns

  • Then expand to trees + integrated farming.
